Here’s a little preview from a two year old birthday party I photographed this past weekend!
Adorable little Lucy celebrated the big *2* with her mom, dad and older sister, and a bunch of family and friends!
They made excellent use of the Gymboree Play & Music space as they climbed, crawled, jumped and slid on all the great play objects. Then it was pizza and cupcake time which did not disappoint!

We also got lucky with the weather on the first day the parks were open after Sandy! Not only was it pleasant in the park, but we practically had the place to ourselves!
One of my favorite families had me stop by their lovely home to take some nice fall photos with the beautiful foliage!
The weather and trees did not disappoint! I love all the yellows, oranges and reds which serve to add a nice warm tone to an otherwise warm and loving group!
It’s been a rainy weekend here in NYC, but Friday evening I got in a fantastic shoot with a wonderful family on an absolutely gorgeous evening!
Little Savannah, her parents and grandparents joined me in Central Park to capture some nice family portraits! Savannah was extremely cute and quite a spark-plug! You had to keep your eyes on her because she could really move, and move she did!
I love especially her little umbrella and a very lucky capture as she was chasing pigeons!
When it comes to loving families, this one is hard to beat! It was all smiles as we spent a beautiful evening in Central Park snapping away.
The beautiful evening could only have been matched by this family though. And can you get over that bow-tie on the little guy? Cuteness overload!
I spent some time Saturday evening with this beautiful family taking photos all around lower Central Park. Little Zoe was so cute as she waved at people who came by and played with her tiny pumpkins!
What a great way to spend the first day of fall!

Happy birthday little Sydney! I headed out to the Newport area of Jersey City today to photograph a beautiful Hello Kitty themed first birthday party.
I always love working with a group of cute kids such as these because their smiles are infectious!
At the party there were Hello Kitty balloons, a tower of cupcakes, even some super-fun face painting. Everyone had a great time!

I was overjoyed yesterday evening to photograph an old friend and her husband as they get ready to welcome their first little girl into the world this November.
Not only that, but we had a ton of fun as we snapped away around the Keansburg Amusement Park in New Jersey and the nearby beach.
These eight photos are just a small selection of all the great photos we captured of the loving couple.

Working on edits and just finished this photo of little Reese. She was totally on the move on her birthday and gave me plenty of exercise following her around!
Here I did a bit of a soft desaturation on Reese herself and full desaturation on everything else. I think it came out nice!

Funny story about this one… I was taking a photo of father and daughter playing in the field together when suddenly and unexpectedly, my viewfinder was full of Jake, so I snapped this instead.
However the family asked if anything could be done about the background containing a blurry dad then. Sure, why not?
So here’s a before and after with a little photoshop magic. Hopefully no one will mind that I moved a portion of the city around to accommodate my little character of a friend here!

Today I had the pleasure of working with this lovely family. With a new little baby boy on the way, older brother Nate was so much fun to work with since he must have said "thank you" to me 100 times for taking his picture. So cute!
